The coronavirus had greatly disrupted the MICE industry. Notable events have been cancelled(WMC 2020, IMEX Frankfurt), sports games have been postponed. As a DMC company, what we should do to reduce the impact of COVID-19 is the biggest question to consider at present.
Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, we postponed our annual conference and incentive trip to Thailand in the middle of Feb. Thus, we hold the annual conference in our Shanghai Office this Monday and shared the content with our Beijing Office on online conference mode.
2019 is a milestone for C&R Solution, we successfully delivered 85 projects and reached CNY 13.57 million in revenue with an outstanding team of 9 talents. We completed one project for our overseas client outside of China in Hanoi Vietnam for the first time.
The start of 2020 is quite tough, while it presents a prime opportunity for us who want to be seen as a more professional DMC company. Our team members have launched a 'Better Together' campaign since February. We planed to update our database for hotels, activities, gifts, etc. 2 training sessions on the registration system and interactivity platform were scheduled in the last 2 weeks of Feb.
In the coming 2 weeks, we will have workshops for AV Equipment. We are catching this prime opportunity to enrich our knowledge and improve our performance. So that to provide more efficient, professional services for our client in the future, and let our client have a better experience of the project in the mainland of China.
For the mice industry, how could we battle with the COVID-19? The only option now is for us to work together to reduce the impact of Covid. Thus we could have a prosperous and sustainable environment.
